1. Purpose
Enamela lets clinics message patients about appointments, reminders, and clinic updates, including through the WhatsApp Business Platform and email. This policy exists to keep that messaging respectful of patients, compliant with messaging platform rules, and free of spam or abuse.
2. General rules
- Use Enamela only for legitimate dental clinic management purposes.
- Do not use Enamela to send unsolicited marketing messages to people who are not your patients.
- Do not use Enamela to harass, threaten, or deceive patients or other users.
- Do not attempt to access another clinic's data, bypass role permissions, or probe the platform's security.
- Do not upload unlawful content, or content that infringes someone else's rights, into patient records or messages.
3. Messaging patients (WhatsApp and email)
- Only message patients who have a relationship with your clinic (for example, an appointment, booking, or ongoing treatment).
- Only send messages relevant to that relationship: appointment confirmations, reminders, rescheduling, and clinic updates the patient would reasonably expect.
- Follow the WhatsApp Business Platform's own policies for business messaging, including template and opt-in requirements where they apply.
- Honor a patient's request to stop receiving messages through a given channel.
- Do not use Enamela's messaging tools to send bulk unsolicited messages to lists not derived from your own patient relationships.
4. Consequences of misuse
Enamela may investigate suspected misuse, and may warn, suspend, or terminate an account that violates this policy, particularly where misuse risks the platform's standing with WhatsApp, our email provider, or other subprocessors, or risks harm to patients or other clinics.
5. Reporting misuse
If you believe an Enamela account is being misused, contact hello@enamela.app so we can review it.
6. Relationship to other policies
This Acceptable Use Policy is part of the Terms of Service. Where it conflicts with a specific term in the Terms, the more specific rule in this policy applies to messaging conduct.
